Real Estate Closer / Paralegal (Pensacola)

Beggs & Lane, RLLP is currently accepting resumes for an experienced real estate closer/paralegal for our Pensacola office.

Ideal candidates should have a minimum of three years of transactional real estate experience (residential required; commercial preferred), understand the closing process from start to finish specifically:

  • Verifying the accuracy of land ownership documents;
  • Conferring with buyers, sellers, and lending institutions;
  • Examining property titles for delinquent taxes;
  • Examining and summarizing mortgages and trust deed documents;
  • Reviewing and summarizing search activity documents;
  • Obtaining property drawings and reports from county surveyors or assessors;
  • Ensuring all financial obligations have been met by the seller and the buyer;
  • Preparing legal documents for the closure of the sale;
  • Holding and transferring funds; and
  • Finalizing the real estate transaction and preparing closing reports;

Additionally, ideal candidates should possess strong organizational and interpersonal skills and attention to detail; have strong computer proficiency; possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal and have a demonstrated understanding of correct grammar, spelling, and punctuation; be able to work effectively and proactively within a team environment; exhibit strong time management skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Full time position; Salary commensurate with experience, plus benefits and 401(k).
