It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our partner and friend, Jim Weber. Following his graduation from the University of Florida College of Law where he served on the Editorial Board of the Law Review, Jim began his legal career as a Law Clerk to the Honorable Winston Arnow, U.S. District Judge, Northern District of Florida, in 1969. In 1971, he joined Beggs & Lane. Over the past 45 years of his tenure with the firm, Jim developed a reputation as an outstanding real estate attorney representing developers, banks and Gulf Power Company in these and related matters. “Our firm has lost a respected partner and dear friend. We are better people for having had Jim as part of our family,” said Nix Daniel, Managing Partner of the firm.
