The Board of Directors and staff at Junior Achievement of Northwest Florida have announced that Beggs & Lane has been named Junior Achievement’s Professional Business Partner of the Year. Each year, Junior Achievement recognizes individuals and businesses in the community that have given considerable time as volunteers and help area youth learn how to obtain and maintain employment, manage money, and prepare to enter the workforce.
Junior Achievement of Northwest Florida partners with business people who volunteer their time in our local schools. Using a nationally-developed curriculum and hands-on experience, they help young people understand the economics of life. Junior Achievement programs help prepare young people for the real world by showing them how to generate wealth and effectively manage it, how to create jobs which make their communities more robust, and how to apply entrepreneurial thinking to the workplace. Students put these lessons into action and learn the value of contributing to their communities.
