John H. Adams, Cecily Parker

Beggs & Lane attorneys John H. Adams and Cecily Parker recently obtained an opinion from the First District Court of Appeal reversing the probate court’s refusal to appoint the personal representative nominated in the Will of the firm’s client’s mother. In reversing the probate court, the Appellate Court explained that a probate court treads on sacred ground when it refuses to appoint the personal representative selected by the testator in the testator’s will.   John, Cecily and Beggs & Lane regularly handle litigation and appeals concerning probated, trusts and guardianships.
